For this work i had to realize something for a benefit event organized by ASSOCIAZIONE FOUR in San Donà di Piave, the event was a fund raising for the research against cancer, and it was in honour of Cristiano Pavan, a very close friend of mine who died of a brain cancer in 2017.
I wanted to give a funny impression of him, 'cause he was a funny character, with a strange sense of humour, and i wanted to picture him while he was doing one of the things he loved best: spray painting graffiti.
So i decided to put a spraycan in his hands and picture him while he is spraypainting on christmas decorations on a christmas tree, 'cause the event was in december.
I think that it's a good tribute to his memory, to remember him happy, doing his thing.
I worked with ink, markers, acrylic, pastels on A4 70 grams paper, then cutted and glued to a A4 format red sheet, 100 grams.
